because my favourite photographers are all photojournalists..eugene smith, henri cartier, sebastiao salgado etc..photojournalism has the same oppurtunities i think.

This is going to get very skinny, but I tried the whole photojournalism thing before and I still take pictures for a local newspaper, but I think I'd MUCH rather take photos for book covers, or the national geograpghic where I get to travel much more and get many more opportunities in the kinds of pictures I take.
Why photojournalism?

i feel same as you ..i am not a lucky person either! I am interested in photojournalism and want to do this job for living but i am a sociolog and good jobs dont wait for you so :) Actually i like everykind of photography (portraits, conceptuals etc.)..Mostly b&w ofcourse :) you?

Yah, I always wanted to take photographs for book covers as a living because that's one of the only proffessions where you can photograph whatever you want and still get paid for it. haha! But sadly only a handfull of people in this world do that for a living and I'm not a very lucky person.

What kind of photographer you want to be?
